Manage Your Privacy Choices
Tail Journal is local-first, so most controls live on your device, in the app, or in your Apple and Google account settings.
In the App
- Edit or delete saved photo entries.
- Change or remove your dog's profile photo.
- Disable reminders.
- Disconnect Google Drive backup where available.
- Delete the Google Drive backup where available.
- Disconnect the Apple account link where available.
- Open advertising privacy choices where available.
On Your Device
- Manage camera, photo library, notification, and tracking permissions in iOS or Android settings.
- Manage iCloud Drive and Tail Journal iCloud access in iOS Settings.
- Delete the app to remove local Tail Journal app data from the device.
Apple and Google Accounts
- Manage iCloud data and Apple account access in your Apple account and iOS Settings.
- Manage Google account access and Google Drive app data in your Google Account settings.
Advertising Choices
If Tail Journal shows Google AdMob ads in your region, the app may show a consent form through Google's User Messaging Platform or another Google-certified consent management platform. Where required, you can update advertising consent from the app's Privacy Choices entry point.
